A contract opportunity is available for a School Social Worker specializing in initial evaluations for a Child Study Team in the Flemington, NJ area. This role focuses on conducting bilingual assessments in Turkish for a third-grade student and will require careful case evaluation and detailed reporting to support educational planning and services. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct initial social work evaluations as part of Child Study Team services. - Perform bilingual (Turkish) assessments tailored to the student's needs. - Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports by the specified deadline. - Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams. - Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: - Active School Social Worker license. - Experience in school-based social work, preferably with Child Study Teams. - Ability to conduct bilingual assessments in Turkish is essential. - Strong evaluation and report-writing skills. - Effective communication and collaboration abilities with children, families, and school personnel.
