Job Description:
We are seeking a curious and motivated Senior Scientist to join
our Regeneron Genetic Medicines group, working on
oligonucleotide-based therapeutics. You will be spearheading assay
development, candidate screening, validation, and
structure-activity relationship (SAR) optimization. The role
involves siRNA design, high-throughput screening (HTS), off-target
analysis, and molecule optimization to support therapeutic
development. As a Senior Scientist, a typical day might include:
siRNA Design & Screening: Design and optimize siRNAs for target
specificity and efficacy. Lead high-throughput screening (HTS) and
secondary screening, including dose-response studies to determine
IC50. Assay Development & Validation: Develop and validate
screening assays (e.g., bDNA, RT-qPCR). Implement automation for
HTS and optimize screening systems (e.g., primary cells, reporter
systems). Off-Target Analysis & SAR Optimization: Establish
off-target screening approaches. Use off-target data to guide SAR
optimization and improve molecular design. Team Leadership &
Collaboration: Lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring alignment
with project goals. Collaborate with bioinformatics, automation,

clinical development. In order to be considered for this role, you
must have : Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related
field. 3 years of experience in RNAi research, high throughput
screening, and/or SAR optimization. Expertise in siRNA design,
assay development, and off-target analysis. Proficiency in RT-qPCR,
including probe designs and multiplex assay development. Experience
with primary cells and reporter systems. Experience with automation
systems and bDNA assays to support HTS Knowledge of computational
tools for transcriptome analysis. Background in drug discovery
