Job Description:
Associate Scientist (Tarrytown, NY) Regeneron Pharmaceuticals,
Inc. seeks an Associate Scientist (Tarrytown, NY) to perform
stability testing of protein reagents following standard analytical
methods and work sheets. Conduct characterization, such as binding
analysis (SPR, BLI, CE-Western, SDS-PAGE, SEC) to support
characterization of protein reagents and analyze data. Document all
analytical work in electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) according
to a defined protocol accurately. Support transitioning paper-based
practices into electronic-based SoA (Summary of Analysis). Perform
routine protein modification (labeling) as required, to support new
reagent demand and communicate any findings to supervisor.
Summarize results in a concise format to support presentations and
regulatory documents. Present findings at group, departmental, and
cross-functional meetings. Maintain and troubleshoot essential
instruments in lab. Local telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per
week. SALARY RANGE: $69,300.00 - $108,500.00 per year Job
Requirements : Requires a Bachelors degree in Biophysics,
Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
Must have knowledge or experience with: Biochemical technical
skillset such as SDS-PAGE and Western-Blot; Chemical labeling of
Protein (mAb); Practical understanding of biophysical and
biochemical characterization of proteins and peptides; Analytical
method development; Interpreting data and documenting findings in
electronic notebook (ELN); and Interpreting and presenting results
at group and departmental meetings. Knowledge and experience may be
