Summary:RSM is seeking an Associate for its Value Creation (VC)
team within its rapidly growing Transaction Advisory Services (TAS)
practice. The Transaction Advisory Services practice offers our
clients assistance with M&A activities including buy-side due
diligence, sell-side due diligence, and working capital
assistance.The VC team specifically focuses on identifying value in
the context of transactions for buy- or sell- side clients, and is
currently expanding to meet demand growth. Team members work
collaboratively as one team with their Financial Due Diligence and
Management Consulting counterparts and benefit from extensive
exposure to senior investment professionals, company executives,
and firm leadership.Responsibilities:
- Support buy-side private equity or corporate clients with
analysis of potential synergies and cost takeout activities that
may arise as a result of acquisition and integration of
activities.
- Rapidly absorb and assess data, assist in the development of
succinct analyses supporting the quantification of synergy and cost
takeout initiatives.
- Support teams with the evaluation of businesses being carved
out from larger enterprises to understand the current operating
structure, headcount, and costs.
- Assist in the development of standalone headcount and cost
models across the operating spectrum.
- Leverage research and benchmarking tools to support selected
analyses. Work in a fast-paced, value-driven deal environment,
offering tremendous opportunities for learning and growth.Basic
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance,
Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Strong quantitative & analytical skills.
- Understanding of several corporate functions and underlying
revenue, cost and operational performance drivers.
- Travel is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange
for use of reliable modes of transportation to those
locations.
- Ability to travel up to 40% locally and nationally.
- A minimum 3.5 GPA is preferred.Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team.
- Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (primarily Excel
and PowerPoint).

stated range.Compensation Range: $72,160 - $86,100.Individuals
selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus
based on firm and individual performance.
