Job Description:

Wilson Elser is currently seeking a Business Analyst. This role has the flexibility to be fully remote or in person in any office location within EST time zones.

This hands-on Business Analyst position will reside within the Firm's Business Solutions department, providing major technology platform transformation and change management, where 20+ years of legacy technology and business process is undergoing a complex and strategic overhaul, focused on efficiency, sustainability and providing a competitive industry advantage.

The Position

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in related field (Information Systems/Computer Science) or prior work experience
* 4+ years' experience in business analysis
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required
* Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
* Excellent documentation skills.
* Planning and time management skills
* Skilled multi-tasker with ability to manage numerous projects and tasks concurrently
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
* SQL and Database knowledge a plus
* Proficiency in JIRA or comparable software for Agile project management is a plus
* Ability to lead and support project initiatives

Responsibilities

* Develop relationships with stakeholders across business units.
* Serve as a liaison between end users and stakeholders.
* Analyze business operations and develop understanding of business objectives by gathering requirements
* Identify substandard operational processes and provide recommendations for efficiency
* Ensure enhancements and proposed solutions meet business requirements
* Prioritize initiatives based on business demand
* Develop and manage project plans
* Document, implement, and maintain business procedures
* Conduct end user sessions to share findings and exchange ideas
* Communicate project results and status to firm leadership
* Create user stories and perform user acceptance testing
* Experience with Jira a plus

The annualized salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000.Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
