Job Description:

To perform daily account payable functions which includes vendor invoice processing, discrepancy resolution, reconciliations, month-end close functions and special projects as needed.--ESSENTIAL TASKS:----- Match invoices to the receivers in ERP system----- Research discrepancies and prepare necessary debit memos----- Enter matched vendor invoices into Microsoft Dynamics-Great Plains----- Liaison with vendors regarding invoice status and any other inquiries as needed----- Match paid invoices to the weekly / daily check runs----- Mail vendors payments----- File completed documents----- Review vendor statements----- Assist in monthly closing process----- Perform special projects on an as needed basis--QUALIFICATIONS:--High School Diploma--Consults with senior peers on complex projects--1 -3 years working in a three way match environment--Microsoft Dynamics - Great Plains & ERP System greatly preferred but not required depending on prior work related experience.--USE OF EQUIPMENT:--Telephone--Calculator--Computer--Photocopier--Fax Machine/Scanner--TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Little or no traveling required (less than 10%)--PHYSICAL DEMANDS:--Speaking--Walking--Standing--Reaching--Keying/Typing--Bending--Pushing--Hearing--Sitting----- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager. Furthermore, tasks and responsibilities may be added or revised based on the volume of business and the need for the work to be completed at the present time.
