Job Description:
Our office, Westchester Implant and Oral Surgery Group, is
seeking an Insurance Coordinator to join our busy specialty
practice.As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in
ensuring our patients receive the maximum benefits from their
insurance coverage while delivering exceptional patient
experiences.Your Responsibilities:Verify patients' dental insurance
coverage and benefits.Communicate with insurance companies to
obtain pre-authorizations for treatments.Assist patients in
understanding their insurance coverage and estimated costs.Submit
accurate and timely insurance claims electronically and via
mail.Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, and
denials.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies
and industry changes.Collaborate with the front desk and clinical
teams to ensure accurate patient information and treatment
codes.Provide excellent customer service by addressing
insurance-related inquiries and concerns.Educate patients on
available payment options for uncovered services.As one of the
essential members of our office, you will also help to
facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.Your

currently seeking a Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team
and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth insurance operations for
our patients. As a vital part of our practice, you will be
responsible for managing insurance claims, facilitating billing
processes, and providing top-notch support to our patients
regarding their insurance-related inquiries. You also have the
following:Previous experience in a similar role equating to 3 years
of experience in similar workHigh school diploma or
equivalent.Previous experience as a dental insurance coordinator or
in a similar role is preferred.Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain
accurate records and documentation.Proficiency in dental practice
management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to multitask
and manage time effectively in a fast-paced
environment.Problem-solving skills to navigate insurance claim
discrepancies and denials.High level of professionalism and a
