Job Type: ContractOpportunity DetailsBuchanan Technologies is seeking experienced Level 3 Citrix Engineer to assist our business customers with our Managed Service offerings. Your experience, advanced problem-solving skills, and an ability to build strong customer relationships, will help Buchanan Technologies support our business customers.This individual will be a professional services contractor and work closely with the Managed Services team responsible for both infrastructure customer environments, including Citrix, hypervisor, Windows operating systems, other applications. - -Customer interactions include performing advanced remote system configuration, troubleshooting, research as well as connectivity and performance issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical solutions. -Responsibilities

  • Design, update, and monitor customer systems
    • Configuration and deployment of Citrix Web Interface/Store Front Servers
    • Configure and manage Citrix License Servers (Windows/VPX)
    • Monitoring Citrix infrastructure through Citrix Studio/Director
      • Expert understanding of user profile management between Microsoft folder redirection/roaming profile, FSLogix, UPM
        • Configure Netscaler ADC as web proxy server
        • Day-to-day operational management and support of the company's enterprise class, mission-critical Citrix infrastructure, including XenApp, XenDesktop, PVS/PVD, and NetScaler environments
          • Use of the remote monitoring and management (RMM) company tools for numerous tasks including:
            • OS and third-party application patching
            • Monitor and management of devices
            • Reporting
              • Good Hands-on experience on Netscaler ADC and Access gateway 10.X & higher versions
              • Good Hands-on experience on Citrix XenApp 6.5 & higher versions
              • Maintain/Support XenApp 6.5 & higher versions of infrastructure
              • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills on Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop and Netscalers
              • Proficiency in PowerShell commandlets, Putty, Wireshark, Netscaler and scripting
              • Deep understanding of vSphere ESXi 7 and experience with deploying and managing a highly-virtualized infrastructure
              • Management and support of Windows 2016/2019 Server in an enterprise network environment, demonstrating extensive knowledge of Microsoft-based system principles and practices
              • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of devices
              • Support network devices (switch, router, firewall, WIFI controllers, etc---)
              • Develop trends by monitoring and analyzing tickets, problems, and support requests
              • Coordinate with Multiple departments and Teams to maintain and troubleshoot - -Requirements:Knowledge and troubleshooting proficiency of:
                • Citrix XenApp and VDI Administrator
                • 8+ years of experience in Windows and Citrix
                  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and other Windows based services
                  • Cloud computing technologies (O365, Azure)
                  • General knowledge of network environments such as routers, switches, systems, and tools (Cisco, Sophos, Watchguard, SonicWALL)
                  • Experience in monitoring/management IT tools such as ConnectWise Automate, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, and/or more are preferred
                  • Prior experience with an ITSM service management ticketing system -Ability to work proactively and effectively with customers and deliver high quality support in a timely mannerStrong organizational skillsHigh degree of professionalism with the ability to provide exceptional customer service to clientsAbility to work well independently and in a team settingExcellent Customer Service skills.
