VP of Digital Marketing & Ecommerce will execute and manage
digital marketing activities and be accountable for the P&Ls
for the DTC and Amazon channels. Looking for a data-driven
analytical person who understands how to grow a digital
business.Client DetailsMy client is an award-winning apparel brand
that has developed pioneering cooling and heat-relief technologies
to improve performance and recovery for active consumers
everywhere. In early 2022 they were acquired by a NY-based private
equity firm that invests in established, profitable, and
fast-growing middle-market consumer businesses. They hired a new
CEO with the investment thesis to scale with a best-in-class
management team. This role would report directly to the CEO and be
part of the C-suite team.DescriptionDigital Campaigns (DTC)
- Driving DTC channel (Shopify)
- Manage current agencies across all digital channels including
but not limited to:
- PPC
- Paid Social
- Programmatic
- Native
- Affiliate
- Video
- Retargeting
- Social Media
- Email and SMS
- Review and refine media plans
- Set performance goals and KPIs
- Review performance reports and KPIs
- Work with agencies to optimize campaignsWebsite and CRM
- Work with senior management, web developers and service
providers on remake of the website and optimized customer journey,
tech platform and marketing automation
- Monitor and drive website performance
- Work with digital agency on
- CRM to drive LTV
- SEO including contentMarketplaces (Amazon)
- Manage current Amazon agency to merchandise on the platform
including:
- Brand Store
- Product listings
- Brand Story
- A+ content
- Paid Advertising
- Sponsored Brands
- Sponsored Products
- Sponsored Display
- DSP
- Audio and Video Ads
- Promotions
- SEO
- Review and refine merchandise and media plans
- Set performance goals and KPIs
- Review performance reports and KPIs
- Work with agency to optimize
campaignsProfileQualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related
field
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in driving customer acquisition
and retention for a DTC business
- Strong data and analytics experience
- Experience with Amazon is a nice to have
- Experience working for omni-channel consumer brands
- Experience working with a private-equity business
- Experience managing external agencies
- Executive-level presentation skills and ability to handle
high-level client interactions
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiating
skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel,
