Job Description:
Procurement Specialist Our client in Westchester is looking for
a Procurement Specialist to join their growing company. They are a
leader in their space and have just added four entities to their
company. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for
supporting the Director of Procurement, especially as they head
into their busiest time of year!

Responsibilities:
- Maintain our database of vendors, keeping accurate records on
current contacts.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing Vendors and
Subcontractors while continually sourcing new Vendors for
purchasing and installations based on client needs.
- Negotiate fair and competitive prices on any materials that we
purchase.
- Negotiate installation and removal prices with
subcontractors.
- Coordinate smooth production and freight from purchasing to
receipt of materials.
- Write Purchase orders for items purchased in accordance with
the American Christmas Purchase Order system guidelines.
- Write Work orders for subcontracted work in accordance with
American Christmas Work Order system guidelines.
- Review and verify all invoices against Pos for pricing accuracy
and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Monitor direct freight and distribution process directly
related to each client's needs and clearly communicate to the
appropriate parties all relevant updates.
- Create custom pricing spreadsheets to calculate item or
Subcontractor cost to clients.
- Analyze Gross Margins on Custom Pricing.
- Source Sample Purchases as needed per client.

Required Education and Experience
- 4-year degree in any business-related field is
preferred
- Five years relevant experience in a similar role
- Advanced Excel skills
