Overview
The Account Coordinator will provide sales support at the direction of the Account Executives and Producers and is responsible for securing quotes, compiling the necessary data and creating the marketing presentations.

    Responsibilities
    Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.

    • Obtain necessary information to prepare for RFP; Distribute RFP to identified markets (via BenefitPoint or Outlook) and ensure RFP deadlines are met by carriers.
    • Have a clear understanding of carrier's product offerings and processes; Follow-up with carrier to insure receipt and report issues to AE.
    • Confirm receipt of all necessary information from carrier is complete and accurate.
    • Spreadsheet rates and plan details and check for accuracy.
    • Meet with AE and producer to present final RFP within established timeline.
    • Follow AP procedures of entering information into agency management system.
    • Maintain relationship with carriers and initiate/coordinate meeting with carriers.
    • Other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      • Undergraduate degree from college
      • Strong organization and communication skills
      • Experienced in Microsoft Office products.
      • Tech savvy; ability to learn multiple systems.
      • 1-3 years customer service and/or insurance experience
      • Must obtain a life and health license within the first year of employment

        Westchester County, NY - Compensation and Benefits:

        • Base Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 (commensurate upon experience)
