Electrical Engineer with Arcadis U.S., Inc. (White Plains, NY)

Produce electrical designs and construction drawings for water/wastewater facilities, including one-line diagrams, power plans, lighting plans, control schematics, and interconnection diagrams, using AutoCAD. Perform electrical condition assessment and document site electrical data. Calculate conduit and wire sizes. Perform electrical cost estimates for design and construction. Perform voltage drop calculations and provide mitigation of voltage drop issues. During construction phase review shop drawings and submittals provided by the contractor to ensure that the correct equipment was installed. Perform field inspections to coordinate work at site.

Position allows for remote work and reports to the company office in White Plains, NY.

Salary: $71,635 - $91,635 per year.



Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.

Position requires 2 years of post-bachelor's experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Lighting, grounding, and low voltage power distribution; AutoCAD; National Electrical Code (NFPA-70); Document site electrical data; Calculate conduit and wire sizes; Perform electrical cost estimates; and Perform voltage drop calculation.
