What's Your Role?

This Sales Director contributes to the success of PepsiCo by growing both top line and bottom line Chilled and Ambient Juice results on the Costco Enterprise team. In addition to having responsibility for nearly $200MM in annual sales and direct linkage to Costco National Buy teams, the Sales Director has two direct reports that are responsible for Costco Regional Sales calls. The position reports to Senior Director Sales, Costco Beverage team. The ideal candidate will have current or previous experience on a large customer desk or in a region managing multiple customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide superior customer-centric service and selling expertise

  • Primary point of contact with Costco D13 and D17 National Buyers and Assistant Buyers and wire to all 9 Costco Region buying teams

  • Own the creation of Juice AOP Costco Plan and final AOP deliverable

  • Primary seller of Juice Plus' national initiatives, innovation, and account-specific programs

  • Assist in creating and selling annual joint business plans by utilizing shopper insights data and fact-based analysis to create customer/channel strategy

  • Ownership of account communication with all key stakeholders - including cross-functional Strategy and Supply Chain teams

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and presentation skills

  • Collaborate across all areas of business planning: forecasting, internal and external communication, reporting, financial accounting, administration, and customer service.

  • Communicate customer plans to appropriate cross-functional support teams in a concise and timely manner to maximize execution and sales (Strategy, Finance, Logistics, and CIC Teams)

  • High sense of urgency around customer service and internal operation needs

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, advanced Degree preferred
  • CPG sales experience with national or regional customer
  • Strong analytical skills: the ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan

  • Excellent communication skills: ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely

  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships based on integrity and trust with the customer and internal contacts.

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems by leveraging multiple function support

  • Strong planning/organizing skills: capable of managing major projects simultaneously

  • Must be willing to travel roughly 25% of the time
