We have an opening for a Product Productivity Developer - R&I Dairy Yogurt, based in White Plains, NY! In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with the Procurement & Operations teams to identify and deliver cost savings, security of supply, and ingredients for capacity expansion to support Danone North America's annual productivity and supply agenda. You will focus on all product categories within yogurt in the United States to create and execute category wide productivity projects.

Additionally, you will:

  • Scope, develop and initiate productivity projects across Danone NA business categories (i.e. premium dairy yogurt and yogurt BUs) while considering requirements of others functions such as Science/Claims, Regulatory and Quality.
  • Partner with Operations and Procurement to identify and deliver multi-year productivity pipelines, according to Danone NA Business Goals.
  • Ensure development of new technical concepts for product solutions via collaboration with internal and external experts to drive value and growth within all efficiency & productivity programs.
  • Drive the selection of key new vendors and maintain strong relationships, partnering with Procurement to continuously identify and deliver on productivity ideas.
  • Collaborate closely with all relevant stakeholders (internal and external) to support operational excellence within launch initiatives across both internal and external manufacturing facilities.
  • Design and run trials, organize tasting sessions with Marketing and cross functional partners, and draw conclusions and recommendations for next steps.
  • Participate in the design of consumer tests, organize sample production, and ensure product quality for the consumer test.
  • Prepare all specifications related to the development and commercialization of a product line and ensure that all documentation is shared with cross functional partners prior to start up.

The base compensation range for this position is $76,000-103,000. About You:

  • You will ideally have a Masters Degree in Food Science or closely related field (Bachelors in Food Science with dairy or operations experience will also be considered)
  • You will have 5-10 years of experience in a related field
  • You will have a general knowledge of the processes within product development process
  • You are detail oriented and can learn in a fast-paced environment
  • You have a demonstrated ability to deliver results by working autonomously with minimal supervision
  • You can efficiently balance strategic thinking and technical expertise/deep dive
  • You have excellent project management skills and verbal and written communication skills
  • You are a self-starter, autonomous and demonstrated ability to bring new unsolicited ideas
  • You can network with the global R&D community to share best practices.
  • You can travel approximately 25% to suppliers and manufacturing sites
