Auto req ID: 236502BR Job Description This role will partner closely with the Commercial & Portfolio Solutions teams to drive the insights & analytics agenda for point-of-sale creative, merchandising & equipment that activates individual brands, and Power of One program at the moment of choice. The role will also support other areas of the commercial marketing insights with project support. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Insights & Analytics, Portfolio Solutions & Divisions, this role will be responsible for anticipating & shaping key business questions, designing the learning agenda, executing custom research, measuring in-market performance, and driving recommendations through to design, innovation, activation, commercialization and codified best practice. Key Responsibilities: Partner with the DX & Activatr teams to develop testing protocols and execute research on point-of-sale graphic assets, merchandising tools & equipment and identify opportunities to maximize in-market effectiveness Partner with the Activatr, brand, design & commercial planning teams to create & embed "moment of choice" design principles that can inform the development & activation of our assets: Clarify purpose and optimal placement, size, structure, and color of each element to cut through and achieve intended action Nuance by brand, channel, in-store location, messaging hierarchy, and desired intention Cultivate new testing principles of evolving Power of One-holiday point of sale assets that identify improvement opportunities and build strong partnerships across beverage, snacks, and DX teams to drive greater impact Partner with DX, Divisions, and external data providers to build and execute analysis to evaluate the overall impact of our merchandising assets at retail and inform go-forward strategy for temporary & permanent merchandise Partner with Portfolio Solutions team to support the development of cross-portfolio packaging strategy, execute ad-hoc research to fuel packaging innovation and evaluate the impact of portfolio-wide packaging and marketing initiatives Present learning and insights as a basis for strategic decision-making. Incorporate consumer-based insights across all planning, including marketing initiatives, consumer communications as well as annual and strategic business planning Act as a champion of consumer empathy and fostering a 'learning culture' Provide input on supplier selection, activity, and workflow to ensure cost-efficient, accurate, and timely completion of projects As needed, leverage syndicated data (i.e. IRI scanner and panel data, etc) to help monitor and address business issues Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree preferred 2+ years of relevant marketing research experience with a consumer packaged goods company or strategic consulting agency 4+ years total experience as a consumer research professional Skills Profile: Ability to challenge the status quo Experience with a range of qualitative and quantitative research techniques Familiarity with IRI/Nielsen scanner and panel data; ideally experience interpreting and applying Strong storytelling/presentation skills, with an ability to translate data to insight in a concise fashion; strong PowerPoint abilities Analytical rigor, with proven capability conducting quantitative portfolio and growth analysis Ability to excel in high demand, performance-driven environment; working on multiple tasks in parallel Strong strategic thinking and creative problem solving Be highly motivated and entrepreneurial Collaboration / teamwork skills Excellent project management skills Sense of fiscal responsibility Demonstrated ability to influence others Be a quick category learner and have a strong curiosity for the unknown Thrive in ambiguity and flexible to quick strategic changes Relocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
