OverviewThe Credit Review Department (CRVD) is adding a Quality Assurance VP level Officer to the Operations and Strategic Planning Group (OSPG) in our White Plains Office. The officer reports to Group Head of OSPG and conducts Quality Assurance of all workpapers, Planning Memoranda, Line sheets, Issues Requiring Attention, Final Reports and Monitoring Report Templates. The Quality Assurance officer has the independent role of providing effective challenge to the Portfolio Review teams after the completion of their work. ResponsibilitiesBe independent from the Credit Review teams and provide effective challenge on the work and decisions of the reviewers: Review the consistency in the quality of work papers and deliverables including planning memoranda, sample rationale, line sheets, Issues Requiring Attention, Final Reports, and Monitoring Report Templates.Evaluate the Proper support of conclusions.Verify there are no items without proper disposition.Verify the uniform and useful messaging in the documents.Create a yearly Quality Assurance Plan with sample coverage requirements.Provide periodic updates to CRVD senior management focusing on material findings and recommendations for correcting problems.Liaise with regulators, auditors, and other external reviewers and manage remediation activities resulting from third party reviews.Identify best practices and advocate for their adoption in the CRVD Policy and ProceduresMonitor the adequacy of staff skills and current training, and identify training gaps QualificationsAt least 18 years of Credit Experience.At least 5 years of Credit Review Experience.Project Management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task.Demonstrated strong analytical and report writing skills in English language.Good verbal communication and presentation skills.Detail oriented mindset.Job SummaryCareer Category: Credit ReviewiCIMS ID: 2020-9003Corporate Title: VPType: Fulltime-Regular
