Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $110,633.00

range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices
Position Summary
Responsible for web or mobile app development for projects, as well
as for the data management, analysis, programming, testing,
documentation and set up of hardware devices in the support of
multiple NIH-funded grants under the direction of Dr. Samprit
Banerjee and Dr. Dimitris Kiosses.
Job Responsibilities
Consults with investigators on data structure for future research
studies.
Performs database design and management in a leadership capacity
using SQL and other software packages.
Prepares final analytical files for research studies, involving
data merging, aggregating, reformatting, and data cleaning.
Queries databases and prepares descriptive reports for
statisticians and investigators.
Able to assist with the development of software applications and
tools.
Education
Experience
Master's Degree in biostatistics, or Master's degree in another
health-related discipline with a concentration or certificate in
biostatistics/data analysis is preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years' experience providing data management/programming
support, either within the academic curriculum or part of a
consulting service unit.
Experience working with large datasets (millions of records)
preferred.
Experience in (one or more of the following):
--- Database development in a RDBMS such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
--- Database maintenance
--- SQL query development
--- Excel, VBA and Power Query
--- Python
--- Kotlin
--- Web or mobile app development
--- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
--- REST web services
--- Web API service integration using XML & JSON data sources
--- Git-based revision control
--- Linux and shell scripting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent time management skills and ability to work under tight
deadlines and manage changing priorities.
Meticulous coding and documentation of code.
Effective communication and familiarity with clinical terminology.
Ability to translate clinical questions into appropriate
queries.
