New York Life's primary distribution channel is the career Agency sales force of more than 12,000 agents, operating in virtually every major city in the United States. Every agent is affiliated with one of our 117 General Offices. These offices are operated by Agency management teams responsible for agent and management recruiting, development, and sales. Approximately half our agents operate their businesses out of our General Offices, while the other half maintains independent office locations. Our General Offices are divided up among four Zones. In addition to our Zone offices, an Agency Home Office team responsible for strategy, finance, administration, standards, training, marketing and communications supports our agents and field managers. The Agency operation also comprises teams charged with growing our business in key market segments, including the middle-income market, the advanced (high-net-worth) market, select cultural markets, and the women's markets. Agents sell individual life insurance, individual annuities, and long-term care insurance products, as well as mutual funds. Role Overview - ARD Program: Management of New York Life's agent referral incentive program (ARD Program). Plan and execute on national opportunities to promote ARD among recruiters and agents. Identify ways in which to improve local skill and adoption among each of our General Offices. - Corporate Campaign Program: In close collaboration with the Marketing team, plan and manage execution of monthly lead generation campaigns that align with current initiatives. Use learnings from field feedback and campaign data to improve processes on an on-going basis. Look for new opportunities in untapped, high potential markets and develop a lead generation testing strategy designed to attract these candidates. - New Managing Partner Program: Review all aspects of current program to develop a thoughtful strategy and make meaningful improvements to the support provided to first time and seasoned Managing Partners moving to a new office in an effort to make their transition turnkey and increase likelihood of success. - College Agent Intern Program: Review all aspects of current program and develop a data driven strategy to increase field adoption, number of college interns who enter the program and successful conversion of program interns into full-time New York Life agents. - Work collaboratively with the Agency Communications team to develop regular cadence of field manager communication plan on lead generation opportunities . - Oversee the creation, compliance approval, maintenance and inventory management of all physical and digital recruiting collateral related to specific programs. - Maintain and update internal microsites related to specific programs. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree - Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) - Firm understanding of the overall agent candidate recruiting process and the role of a Field Manager and Life Insurance Agent to develop campaigns and materials to attract potential candidates and to identify areas of improvement - Ability to establish priorities, communicate decisions, work on multiple assignments and meet deadlines - Ability to adjust to changing workload and priorities - Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work with limited direction and some autonomy - Ability to productively collaborate with a variety of personalities - Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely to team members, stakeholders, field management and senior management - Ability to comprehend and explain difficult concepts and influence others to adopt a different point of view - Travel to offsite meetings and General Offices to provide tactical support to recruiters on an as needed basis EOE M/F/D/V If you have difficulty using or interacting with any portions of this Web site due to incompatibility with an Assistive Technology, if you need the information in an alternative format, or if you have suggestions on how we can make this site more accessible, please contact us at: **************.
