Job Description:

The Human Resource Coordinator provides overall support to the firm and the human resources.
Essential Functions--Conducts new hire orientation for the local NOC office and firmwide orientation presentation.--Drafts offer letters for income and equity principals, alternative work arrangement and other hires including exempt and non-exempt employees and associates and of counsel. --Prepares, distributes and ensures execution for new partner elevation materials.--Schedules meetings and tracks same. --Prepares and distributes ad-hoc and monthly firm analytic reports for leadership.--Prepares PowerPoints and other presentation materials as needed.--Processes onboarding and offboarding for the HR department personnel movement. --Processes departing attorney notifications, expense reports, travel and department invoices.--Update and ensure accuracy of HR pages on the intranet.--Conducts background screenings ensuring timely completion and communicating to the offices on completion dates. Following-up on background and conflicts checks that are taking extensive time.--Backup to conducts E-Verify for I-9's and maintains documentation.
Qualifications/Skills Required --Minimum three years of relevant experience.--Exceptional organizational, teamwork, verbal and written communication skills.--Exceptional attention to detail.--Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and excellent excel skills.--Understand methods, practices, terminology and procedures used in human resources administration.--Work confidentially with discretion.--Proven ability to compile data for correspondence or reports.--Ability to determine work priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.--Law firm experience a plus
Educational Requirements--Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
