Our client, a reputable food service provider, is seeking a Prep Cook to join their team. As a Prep Cook, you will be part of the kitchen operations supporting the culinary team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dedication, attention to detail, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Prep Cook Location: Elmsford, NY Pay Range: 18-20.00/hr., based on experience Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm Temp-Perm Opportunity What's the Job? Prepare ingredients and set up workstations for line cooks, including washing, chopping, and portioning produce, meats, and cheeses Make sauces and dressings, ensuring quality and consistency Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment Follow recipes accurately and manage inventory to ensure smooth service Assist with kitchen maintenance tasks such as washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing storage areas What's Needed? No minimum experience required Ability to work early mornings and adhere to scheduled hours Strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team environment Good organizational skills and attention to detail What's in it for me?
