We are seeking a licensed Physician Assistant to work collaboratively with our Urgent Care Department . Requirements include: Current NY/CT State PA License Certification 2 years of related experience preferred Solid decision-making, analytical, time-management, and communication skills Experience in treating both pediatric and adult populations Responsibilities include: Identifying chief complaints/issues Obtaining detailed and accurate patient histories Performing physical exams Performing procedures including ( but not limited to ) suturing, splinting and abscess draining Interpreting diagnostic and other test results ( e.g. EKGs, X-Rays, Lab Work ) Communicating and educating patients Formulating treatment plans and arranging follow-up care as needed Working closely with physicians and support staff to ensure efficiency and proper patient flow If you are an interested candidate, please reach out to our recruiters at providerrecruitment@summithealth.com Compensation Range: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, individual performance, quality measures and location of position.
