Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Eatontown, NJ Agency: Bluebix Health Inc Pay: $49 to $51 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 7 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/10/2026 About the Position The COTA will assist in implementing therapy programs that help individuals improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance their overall independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities Monitor patient responses and report progress to the Occupational Therapist Document treatment sessions accurately and maintain patient records Help patients use adaptive equipment and assistive devices Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment Requirements Qualifications & Requirements Diploma or Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program Certification as a COTA and valid license/registration (as per local regulations) Basic understanding of therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation practices Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision Compassionate and patient-centered approach Benefits Competitive salary
