Jersey Shore Post Acute, a leader in post-acute care and rehabilitation services, is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. In this vital role, the CMA will assist in delivering high-quality care and personalized treatment plans to promote patients’ recovery and well-being. The ideal candidate is a compassionate professional with a strong commitment to patient care, capable of conducting clinical tasks and assisting in the administration of healthcare services. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility by supporting medical staff, engaging with patients, and managing clinical duties with professionalism. Assist healthcare professionals in the delivery of patient care and execution of treatment plans. Conduct clinical tasks such as measuring vital signs, administering medication, and collecting specimens. Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas. Record patient information and maintain accurate patient records. Participate in patient assessment and care planning. Support patient recovery by providing necessary healthcare education and resources. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in clinical skills such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and phlebotomy Ability to handle patient information with confidentiality and professionalism Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
