Job Description Job Description Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg ICU Location: Bronx, New York Openings: 1 Contract Type: Acute Care – Nursing Compensation Local Candidates: $60/hour Travel Candidates: $75/hour Shift Details Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Hours per Week: 34.5 Days per Week: 3 Hours per Day: 11.5 Position Overview A large acute care healthcare facility in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg ICU to provide high-quality critical care services in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary care teams. Required Experience Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience Minimum 2 years of experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation Prior experience in Med/Surg ICU, PCU/Step-Down, MICU, or CCU strongly preferred Education & Certifications Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program Active New York State RN License NYSED Primary Source Verification AHA BLS Certification AHA ACLS Certification Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a Med/Surg ICU setting Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products per clinical protocols Perform phlebotomy and IV insertions with adherence to safety and infection control standards Monitor and manage patients requiring conscious sedation Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation For more details reach at Aditi.sharma@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
