Job Description Job Description Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics Bronx, NY 10461 Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Pay Rate: $65 – $71 per hour Hours: 34.5 hours/week (3 shifts per week, 11.5 hours per shift) Contract: One contract – No extension Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week night shift contract in Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care experience and be confident in delivering high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Provide direct bedside nursing care to pediatric pre- and post-surgical patients Administer and document prescribed medications accurately Perform wound care, infection control procedures, and IV therapy Insert catheters and manage specialized medical equipment Monitor vital signs and promptly report adverse reactions Interpret and record patient measurements and telemetry monitoring Collaborate with the healthcare team on discharge planning Educate patients and families on procedures and post-surgical care Maintain accurate and updated medical records Adhere to nursing best practices, standards, and clinical protocols Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Rehab experience in a large acute care hospital Most recent experience must be within the past year Strong skills in: Physical assessment Medication administration Wound care & infection control IV therapy Post-operative care Patient education Telemetry monitoring Preferred Skills EPIC EMR experience Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited institution Certifications & Licensure Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verified) AHA BLS Certification For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
