shifts Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours/week Position Overview A
facility in White Plains, NY is seeking experienced Labor &
Delivery Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team for a 13-week
assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
high-risk obstetrics and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements - Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery -
License: Active NY RN license (willing to submit) - Education: BSN
required - Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NRP required; RN-C
preferred - Charting Systems: Meditech and GE Unit Details - Beds:
14 total (5 triage/inpatient, 6 labor beds, 2 OR beds) - Ratios:
AWHONN guidelines followed - Charge Nurse: Generally does not take
patients; unit leader on duty 3 days/week - Support Staff: Nurse
aides and scrub techs - Procedures: C-sections performed on unit
(RNs expected to scrub), high-risk OB, magnesium sulfate patients -
Floating: May task in OB or nursery but will not take patients -
Common Patients: High-risk and low-risk OB, antepartum, postpartum
- Other Details: Nurses perform full exams and assessments; cannot
place IUPC Schedule & Expectations - Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd
weekend (3 shifts in 4 weeks for days) - Holidays: Travelers do not
