Job Description:
WCS Healthcare is working with the largest community health care
clinic on the New York City Region who have an immediate opening
for multiple full time LPNs for their newly opened location in
Nyack, NY. The clinic specializes in Women's Health, Pediatrics,
Urgent Care and Primary Care and the Nurse will be expected to
float as needed. This is a full time schedule, Monday through
Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.Job Function:Interviews patients for health
history, including history of current complaint, and past and
present use of medication utilizing patient identifies; document
patient charts (must be time stamped and/or initialed)Maintains
patient's medical record and charts the following: nursing
observation; vital signs; reactions to test, i.e., PPD results,
in-house testing, and other pertinent informationPrepares equipment
and assists physician during treatments and examinations of
patientsInitiates follow-up, as necessaryInstruct patients on
healthcare issues, as indicated by physician, diagnosis and/or
inquiries by patientJob Requirements:LPN CertificationNursing
Minimum Work Related Experience: 0-1 year Preferred Work
RelatedExperience: 2-4 years Minimum Licensure: Valid New York
State LPNLicense CPR CertificationDisclosure: The hourly rates
