nursing job in White Plains, New York. Job Description &

Rotation would be for RNs and STs in the Main OR-11P-7A Monday
through Sunday. It will be every other week or every 3rd week.
How many suites does your OR have? 12 Operating Rooms & 1 Cysto
Suite
How many cases per day/per room? 50 - 60
What are the areas of surgery experience that a traveler will need
for your unit (Typical - general, ortho, neuro, OB-GYN, ENT,
Cardiac)?
General, Ortho, Neuro/spine, Vascular, Thoracic, Bariatric,
Robotics, Urology, GYN/Oncology Neuro for tumor
If ortho experience required...Do you need totals (hip and knee)
experience? Yes total hip & knee
If cardio OR opening, will the nurse or tech work on any other
types of cases? No Cardio at this time
Does the traveler need to scrub and circulate (RN only)? Scrub not
a requirement
What Certifications does this position require? (Typically BCLS &
ACLS) BLS
Are there any specific equipment, procedures or skills that someone
needs for your unit besides what we have talked about so far?
No
What does your orientation consist of? (Classroom, on unit, how
long, testing?) If there is testing, what type(s) and is there a
study guide? Unit based, no testing, Usually two weeks. eTeam Inc
