Our mission is to bring health through food to as many people as possible.Danone North America is looking for aSr. PMO Manager, Productivity Projects in White Plains.This individual will lead productivity projects to deliver bottom line savings. The number of projects and types of projects to manage will depend on the size and complexity of each project in addition to the business needs.For each of these projects the Project Manager is accountable for all the activities through their team to meet the deliverables of the project (product characteristics, cost, savings, time of launch, quality, delivery to the customers, etc.).For each project the Project Manager will develop and propose a solution on how to execute the brief in the most efficient way which will be fully meeting the business need. The proposed solution will include recommendation on team members needed, a detailed timeline with critical path and a risk analysis, a detailed financial tool, and presentations for each stage gate. The steps to achieve this will be based on the GOOSE methodology for project management.The Project Manager is the representative of the team for his/her projects. As such he/she will be accountable for all areas of the project (time, cost, saving, etc.) including communicating updates to the business (management committees including the EC) and going all the way to timely delivery of the project. Finally, the Project Manager will also be responsible to develop a pipeline of productivity projects for future needs with other Productivity team members.Responsibilities: Driving and managing Productivity projects to deliver bottom line savings while assuring product superiority and business alignment. Productivity projects are critical for the Danone USA achieving year over year goals. The candidate will work with cross functional teams and business partners to ensure projects are successfully executed and delivered on time.The individual in this role will:Manage cross-functional teams and ensure project team has sufficient skills and experience to meet the objectivesBe accountable for project timelines, financials, action plans and risks of the projectsReport and communicate the project to managementIdentify and propose best practices and improvement to the project management processBe a subject matter expert for pack, milk, fruit, or other ingredientsEducation and Experience (Requirements): 4 year college degree minimum (engineer, business or other relevant discipline), Master or postgrad is a plusSolid risk and stakeholders management experienceMS Project proficient - PMP certification a plus5 or more years of work experience demonstrating the skills required for this positionPrior PM experience in fast moving consumer goods a plus5 or more Prior experience in a food manufacturing setting a plusKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Need to be an employee in good standing with a proven track record of delivering results and displaying the leadership competencies and values of the organization. These include:Take charge and ability to leadAbility to navigate unknownsManage change, and influenceEffective communicatorBusiness acumen and political savvyHighly organized and multi-taskerFunctional skills with ability to go deep into details (work in macro and micro)Has successfully led projects or had a significant contribution to the success of projects as a participant beyond their area of functional responsibility in a highly fast pace, challenging and constantly changing environmentUnderstanding and ability to articulate the roles of each function in a product/package project and ability to get them working/interacting together in the most efficient mannerUnderstanding of the interdependence of every decision and action taken in each function of the project on the overall project and be able to use judgment to challenge themMust be detailed oriented enough to created detailed timelines and action plans for the projectMust have good presentation skills and be able to synthesize project details into a concise impactful summary adapted to the audience (from EC to project team)Strong computer proficiency MS office (including project)Must be able to make decisions, explain why, without having (black/white) clarity - ability to navigate in the greyMust be able to work and succeed in a highly complex environment - many suppliers, many productions sites, complex logistics, high number of parallel projects impacting the same projectsAbility to travel up to 25%Danone North America is a Certified B Corporation business unit of Danone and operates in the U.S. from headquarter offices in White Plains, NY and Broomfield, CO.
