Location : White Plains NY City : White Plains State : New York (US-NY) Country : United States (US) Requisition Number : 2906 Position Summary:The main purpose of this function is to lead the financial planning and financial performance processes for the company (including the annual global business plan, forecast, and the performance management monthly reporting process), working with Business Segments and Operating Companies leadership.The position also assists the FP&A Director and the CFO in preparing information for meetings with the CEO and his direct reports (Executive Committee), segment leaders, and the Bunge Board of Directors, dealing with business plans, financial performance and forecasts.The incumbent also provides coordination to the Planning and Business Analysis teams in each of the Operating Companies and the Segments in all activities related to financial planning.Core Functions:Lead processes related to: Financial Forecasting, Strategic Plan and Business Plan in alignment with Corporate Functions, Regions and Segments.Coordinate the overall performance management process and calendarPrepare monthly analyses and reports for Executive Management and the Board of Directors related to EBIT, ROIC, EPS, OPWC, Invested Capital, etc.Support the CFO and FP&A Director in preparing presentations and information to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors, with focus on understanding performance driversProvide support in preparing information for the investors community, including earnings call and other eventsResolve internal issues related to all of the activities mentioned above through influence managementContinually upgrade and simplify the financial planning internal processes (business plan, forecast, etc.)Liaise with other Corporate functions such as Controlling, Tax, Treasury, etc. to prepare accurate and timely financial reports.Performance ManagementCoordinate the overall performance management processPrepare monthly performance reports sent to the CFO, CEO and Board (i.e. Flash of results, Forecast, Performance Summary, etc.)Analyze Bunge Ltd. results and participate in business analysis discussionsSupport the operating companies and segments in the performance management process, helping to improve the deliverables and enhancing the quality of the dataFinancial / Strategic Planning ProcessesLead the annual Business Plan and Strategic Plan process, coordinating all efforts, working with the Segments, Corporate Functions and the Operating CompaniesLead the forecast reporting process, coordinating the operating companies submission and consolidationContinuously analyze financial estimates and assumptions in both the business plan and forecastVerify consistency and accuracy of materials (involving business analysis, tax and treasury if necessary)Improve and simplify existing financial planning processes, balancing the workload and enhancing the quality of the exercisePrepare consolidated materials for the CFO, CEO, Executive Committee and BoardOtherAs needed, support the CFO in preparing presentations for the executive committee and the board related to financial planning and financial performance management (i.e. Financial Review, etc.)Assist the CFO team (investors relations, human resources, etc.) in preparing materials and analyses related to financial planning and financial performanceParticipate in projects related to the financial planning and performance of the company (i.e. long term targets, earnings analyses, etc)Analyze financial performance and i analyze Bunge Ltd resultsIdentify value drivers impacting business unit performanceConduct adhoc research and analyses as requested by senior management and the BoardSkills/Experience Requirements:8+ yearsof previous working experience in Finance-related functions. Alternatively, equivalent experience in investment banking or public accounting.Minimum BS; MBA preferredStrong leadership and influence management skillsAbility to work independently, maintain objectivity and deliver resultsStrong communication skills; ability to articulate complex matters/issues in a clear and concise mannerSolid knowledge of financial performance analysis tools and techniquesAbility to think creatively and identify/explore alternativesAbility to drive to conclusions and recommend actions, generally involving situations or issues where there is incomplete and/or conflicting informationStrong negotiation skillsAbility to think at both strategic and operational levelsUnderstanding of Accounting, Tax and Treasury (including EPS calculations, capital structures, financing and foreign exchange)Bunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
