A New York City-based health services organization is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to their join their Mother-Baby team in the Bronx as a Nurse Manager.

About the Opportunity:

  Responsibilities:
  
  The Nurse Manager (RN) - Mother-Baby will:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Develop departmental goals and objectives that are aligned with the Nursing and hospital strategic plans
    
  • Facilitate change by assessing readiness, involving staff and evaluating outcomes
    
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to align initiatives with that of a Magnet Organization
    
  • Create and maintain a culture of shared governance, evidence based practice and innovation
    
  • Manage contingency plans for internal/external disasters or emergency planning and execution
    
  • Perform other duties, as needed
    
    
    Qualifications:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
      
    • NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
      
    • ACLS and BLS certifications
      
    • Previous experience in a Leadership and/or Management role
      
      Desired Skills:
      
      
      • 
        
      • Master's Degree in Nursing and/or Health-related field
        
      • Certification in area of specialty -or Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML)
