About the jobReporting to the President, General Manager for the
Yogurt Business Unit, the Vice President, Marketing will be
responsible for leading a
$1B billion segment of the business across multiple platforms in a
highly competitive category. S/he will be responsible for driving
marketing excellence to drive both the business. This role is a key
member of the Yogurt cross-functional leadership team.
The ideal candidate will be a classically-trained, strategic, CPG
marketer with strong brand management skills, clear commercial
acumen and strong general management savvy. This person will have a
strong blend of strategic vision, operational marketing and
commercial experience. S/he will have a track record of successful
portfolio management, strong financial acumen / P&L savvy, and
strong brand management fundamentals. S/he will also have learned
and grown from a wide range of both successes and failures, as they
will have the courage to go after bold goals. This role has
multiple responsibilities: P&L for
$1 billion Yogurt business, and Brand Equity Leader for Functional
brands, This person will have drive, energy and a srong bias for
action. S/he will pair growth mindset with a collaborative,
influence-driven work style. They will be a quick study who has an
extraordinary ability to handle ambiguity and a creative approach
to problem solving. S/he will lead by example and will have a
reputation for driving positive change. Further, they will be a
team player and team builder and excel at partnering and
influencing decision making at all levels of the organization.
This leader should have a track record transforming and modernizing
brands to make them culturally relevant. Ideally this person would
have previous examples of driving recruitment into brands focusing
on brand building initiatives. This bold leader should think
end-to-end to integrate the brand agenda from idea to shelf,
inclusive of occasions, price, packaging architecture and channel
strategy. Most importantly, this leader must have a high sense of
urgency to inspire his team and key cross functionals to impact the
marketplace with big, bold initiatives that drive growth and
delight our consumers and customers. Responsibilities:
Partner with the President & General Manager to set short term and
long term strategy and vision for the portfolio. Specifically:
o Developing Growth Strategy
o Brand Architecture
o Brand Plans
o End-to-end Occasion, Brand, Price, Package and
Channel strategy
o Relentless performance managementOwn and develop compelling brand
positioning, creative briefs and communication strategies that
result in game-changing culturally relevant platform ideasLead the
marketing organization and cross functional team to develop big
end-to-end brand and commercialization ideas that continue to fuel
topline growth for the brandLead partnership with all agencies of
record that support the businessReframe business, brands, and go to
market strategy to drive demand creationLead strategic planning
process and ensure successful implementationManage all aspects of
the business, working collaboratively with functional leaders to
deliver consistent net sales and profit objectivesDevelop and drive
multi-year vision to develop optimal path to strengthen and improve
marginSupports strategic business needs while improving the
effectiveness and efficiency of marketing processes, programs and
infrastructureEvaluate, review and communicate progress of
financial performance against company goals effectively with
employees and other stakeholdersLeverages insights and creative
strategies to achieve overall business goals for the brand and to
maximize competitive differentiationEnsure top-tier advertising and
brand building to further develop consumer loyaltyBuild, retain,
and inspire a talented team. Develop the bench for future

best practice throughout the organization About youEducation and
Experience:
B.S./B.A. and MBA preferred15+ years' classical consumer packaged
goods background, Food/Beverage background (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Brand Marketing excellence, strong leadership track of performance
in the consumer products industry and in highly competitive
environmentsStrong leadership orientation and exceptional business
acumen with emphasis on best-in-class marketing and sales
go-to-market experienceDeep understanding and management of
P&LAbility to interconnect all business functions. Clear
understanding of Sales, Supply Chain and R&D in order to drive
business agendaHighly analytical with proven ability to gather,
analyze, present and act on detailed financial information related
to all aspects of business to sophisticated financial
audiencesDemonstrated history of driving profitability through the
expansion of business lines, operations and geographical
penetration while establishing high-level business
relationshipsGrowth mindset, yet collaborative, influence
workstyleCustomer interface savvy. Experience driving a
customer-focused culture.Demonstrated ability to attract and

winning culture The base compensation range for this position is
275,000 to 305,000. Danone North America additionally offers a
performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including
