Location and Overview: Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is currently searching for a full-time Director of Engagement and Culture to work in our Headquarters office located in White Plains. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will oversee the strategy and delivery of an exceptional employee experience; one that develops and retains employees and creates a culture of shared mission, belonging, inclusivity and equity.WJCS, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1943 and has grown to be the largest provider of licensed outpatient community mental health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester county. We provide state-of-the-art programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds throughout Westchester. Responsibilities include: Serving as a strategic thought leader within the organization and lead all aspects of employee experience at WJCS. Working across the entire organization to identify areas that negatively impact the employee experience and work to design improvements. Working with the agency's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion teams to implement strategies and retention efforts focused on elevating our commitment to shared mission and to equity. In conjunction with Human Resources, conducting New Hire Orientation, development and oversight of on-boarding process and exit interviews. Making recommendations for staff training and development initiatives. Monitoring turnover data and other KPIs to assess employee engagement. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Degree and/or Advanced Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Management preferred; however, education does not take the place of robust/relevant experience. Proven experience in organizational development and content creation. Track record of success in working with senior leadership on implementing and developing organizational strategy. A commitment to equity, experience working on DEI initiatives, as well as implementing cultural competencies for an organization. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels inside and outside of the organization. Significant experience working across departments and/or divisions at a complex organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Able to multi-task, work independently and have a great attention to detail. Salary: $100,000-$110,000/year.
