Job Description Job Description Duties and Responsibilities
Program, set up, and optimize CNC Vertical and Horizontal Mills,
including 5-axis machining centers Design fixtures and develop
machining methods, including setup instructions, tool lists, and
standard work to ensure efficient and repeatable production of
conforming parts Identify and implement process improvements,
method optimization, tooling enhancements, and cycle time
reductions Apply strong knowledge of Quality Control principles,
blueprint reading, GD&T, and tolerancing to independently
transform designs into finished parts from start to finish
Collaborate with the Sales team to provide technical support, DFM
analysis, and accurate cost estimates Perform pre-production
engineering reviews and risk assessments to support successful
project launches Machine a wide range of standard and exotic
materials while maintaining quality and efficiency standards Train
and mentor team members on machining processes, best practices,
standard work, and safety requirements You should be proficient in:
CNC Programming CNC Machine Setup & Changeover Machines &
technologies you'll use: 3D Modeling (AutoCAD, Solidworks) CAD
Software (AutoCAD, Solidworks) CAM Software (Mastercam)
