Mechanical Design Engineer Core Competencies: Select and size equipment including pumps, piping, valves, gates, and other mechanical equipment Prepare technical specifications for mechanical equipment Prepare mechanical CAD drawings Coordinate mechanical work with other disciplines Education and Experience Required: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering 5 to 10 years of relevant experience Mechanical systems design experience A P.E. license is not required but preferred. Candidates without a P.E. license will be encouraged and supported in their efforts to obtain one.
