Must Have Skills Of The Mechanical Engineer

#1. Local law 87 (auditing commissioning) any level NEP systems commissioning experience

#2. Different area buildings (sectors) HVAC-Boilers duct work

#3. 3+ years with commercial mechanical systems design EIT

#4. No more than 3 jobs in the past 10 years

Responsibilities Of The Mechanical Engineer

• The candidate shall have the capability of working on multiple projects and must have good communications skills to relate to clients, other design professionals, contractors, vendors and his/her peers.

  Requirements Of The Mechanical Engineer
  
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years with commercial mechanical systems design
  • 3+ years of consulting experience in the design of HVAC systems for residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional facilities. Responsibilities will include field investigation, analysis, design, production of contract documents, and construction administration activities.
  • EIT Preferred, PE a plus
  • LEED Accreditation a plus
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE and NYC Codes
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD required, knowledge of Revit a plus
    Other Key Requirements
    
    • Office 4 days a week.
    • No Sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
