A contract position is available for Physical Therapists to provide Extended School Year (ESY) services within Bucks County, Pennsylvania. These roles support students with diverse needs during the summer instructional period, working in various school sites across the region. The primary office is located in Doylestown, PA, with placements available in neighboring communities. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver quality physical therapy services aligned with students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) during the ESY program. - Collaborate with educational and related service staff to support student progress. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions. - Adapt service delivery to meet moderate to severe student needs and behavioral considerations. - Participate in orientation and training sessions prior to and during the program. Qualifications & Candidate Requirements: - Active Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Physical Therapist licensure. - Reside within 35 minutes of school site placement with reliable transportation. - Ability to commit to the full ESY schedule: June 29 to July 30, 2026, Monday through Thursday. - Willingness and capability to work varied hours depending on site (12-24 hours per week). - Experience working with students exhibiting moderate to severe needs and behaviors. - Must have completed a supervised PT role reference (not coworker), with a rating of 3.5 or higher if using RefAssure. - Familiarity with credentialing timelines and agency policies. - Candidates who have worked with this client through another agency within the past year are not eligible to apply. Schedule & Locations: - ESY Student Hours: 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM; Center-Based Related Services staff hours: 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM. - Assignments primarily in Lower, Central, and Upper Bucks County with itinerant and center-based options. - Days of work: Monday through Thursday during the ESY instructional period.
