POSITION OBJECTIVE: This position provides clerical and
administrative support to the Vice President, Claims &
Administration and Claim Department Professionals. The Office
Administrator also supervises the company's support functions.
1. Provide administrative and clerical support to VP, Claims &
Administration and Sr. Claims Examiners, including handling phones,
calendar, correspondence, memos, minutes, reports, updating,
revising and maintaining departmental manuals and employee/agency
contact lists and preparation for all meetings. Serve as first
point of contact for all inquiries to VP's office, handling as many
as possible independently and escalating when needed.
2. Oversee and coordinate department operations.
a. Serve as liaison to other departments.
b. Ensure department staff, and department visitors / temporary
staff / auditors, have the supplies, resources, and space required
to complete work.
c. Ensure that check requests and closing papers are complete and
overseeing employee expense reimbursement forms and training
d. Review and approve office supply orders.
3. Manage support services team.
a. Monitor support team's performance, give on-going performance
feedback, and conduct performance appraisals.
b. Follow appropriate processes in the selection of new employees,
salary increases, promotions and terminations.
c. Complete biweekly timesheets and overseeing time off requests
for the support services team.

a. Notifies vendor regarding issues within the office suite
(temperature control, lighting, cleaning, parking and access

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred.
