• Continuing EducationJob DetailsWe are looking for a talented Senior Accountant to guide part of our overall accounting policy. This role will likely potentially lead into a leadership role within our accounting and finance team as we mature and consolidate our company.Job Duties:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations on accounting issues and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting records
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders
  • Mentor and train junior accounting staffIdeal Background:
    • 2+ years at a Big 4 public accounting firm experience ideal
    • CPA certification or CPA in process of obtaining one required
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
