Incident Response Analyst Job Locations US-NY-White Plains Posting Date 2 days ago (4/2/2021 4:39 PM) Career Category Corporate Services iCIMS ID 2020-7493 Corporate Title Analyst Type Fulltime-Regular Overview Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation is looking to hire and Anti-Fraud Analyst focused on assisting the Fraud Vice President in the day-to-day operational activities of the First Line of Defense Team. This role is responsible for responding to reports of fraudulent activity including Physical Checks, ACH transactions, Remittance Instructions, Invoice, and Wire fraud, etc. This role will also assist with the continuous improvement the of Fraud Incident Management Protocol.

                    The scope of the First Line of Defense Team is to ensure the integrity of the organization, including being responsible for assessing, controlling, and mitigating risks in regards to fraud. This Team is responsible for staying current with new fraudulent trends that could affect the organization. Responsibilities
                    • Responsible for assisting, logging, tracking, escalating and resolving all pending fraud incidents
                    • Maintains and updates reporting in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations
                    • Assist in defining and maintaining fraud prevention and detection procedures and map to strategy and policy
                    • Assist in defining operational fraud business process flows
                    • Assist with training initiatives generating a high-level of anti-fraud awareness for our internal staff, relationship managers including our external customers.
                    • Assist in the development of KPI & KRI reporting for fraud program
                    • Assist with detections and investigations of reported fraud or suspicious activity and the creation of reports/summaries to be distributed to key stakeholders of the program
                    • Assist in the analysis of new fraud industry standards for the evolvement to the first line of defense
                    • Assist the team in regard to ad-hoc projects and assignments related to Fraud investigations and prosecutions as necessary
                    • Partner with PMO governance team to prioritize project deadlines Qualifications
                      • 0-3 years of experience working in incident management
                      • Strong project management skills and the ability to remain flexible in a constantly changing environment
                      • Strong attention to detail with analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply conceptual framework to various situations
                      • Strong Case Management, Outlook, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint skills
                      • Ability to work with other support groups to ensure for proper cross-communication. Use communication skills to be highly persuasive through presenting facts and methodical process
