We are currently recruiting for a Senior IT Auditor to join a growing Global Internal Audit team in New York City (Remote & NYC Midtown office hybrid). The Senior IT Auditor will support the IT Audit Manager by planning and reporting on internal audit activities in order to provide assurance on the adequacy, appropriateness and effectiveness of the Information Technology (IT) internal control environment, risk management framework and compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. 110K - 120K Base + Bonus + Benefits PackageResponsibilities:* Plan and perform IT audit assignments to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of IT processes and related controls* Prepare detailed working papers in TeamMate+* Draft, prepare and present audit findings to senior management. Follow up on remediation's of the audit findings and their closure* Act as an IT subject matter expert to ensure alignment with best practices* Maintain up-to-date knowledge relating to key risk indicators for IT environment, industry related technology risks, and general insurance industry practices* Complete projects and assist and/or lead operational and integrated IT audits of business and shared service functions, as necessary* Liaison with the IT SOX team to ensure coordination and consistency of approachRequirements:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, or Finance.* 3+ years relevant IT compliance/controls and Audit experience. Big 4 experience +* IT auditing experience & insurance industry experience required* Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred* Working knowledge of IT Governance, COBIT Framework, COSO* Working knowledge of IT general controls; system development lifecycle methodology; and applications controls* Working knowledge, skills, and experience in the principles and practices of technology, IT industry trends, IT infrastructure, IT service management processes and controls, internal auditing, accounting, and financial and operational environments* Experience with TeamMate a plus* Strong ability to build long-term collaborative working relationships with senior management* Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and technical writing skills* Willingness to travel to other office locations (approx. 10-20%)Local candidates only (must be in commutable range to NYC office).
