• Operate closely with other functional teams to certify data quality and consistency
• Obtain missing or correct data when necessary, after evaluating billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness
• Evaluate, process, and review bills or invoices for services rendered
• Form financial controls and proceduresRequirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Insurance Follow-up experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of Billing Collection
  • Strong familiarity with Insurance Follow-up
  • Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems
  • Calling Insurance company and questioning why certain things were paid or not, determining if everything is accurate with regards to the billing codes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience in a related role
